Living in Henderson (Henderson County)

Methodist Health has a main campus located in the City of Henderson in Union County, not far from Morganfield. We are only a 10 minute drive across the river from Evansville, IN which provides several four-year universities and technical schools, many "large city" shopping facilities, restaurants and cultural events. Nashville, TN is only a two hour drive south and Louisville, Kentucky a mere two hour drive northeast.

Henderson, KY lies on the banks of the Ohio River in Western Kentucky. Henderson is rich in history and displays a healthy balance between preserving the best of the past and embracing the technological developments of the present and future.

Henderson County boasts a population of 45,000 and provides a healthy economy based upon manufacturing, agriculture and mining. The Henderson and Morganfield public school systems are some of the finest in the State of Kentucky.

Living in Morganfield (Union County)

We also have another campus located in Morganfield to serve the county. Union County boasts many attractions, including the 5,000+ acre Higginson & Henry Wildlife area with its 10 miles of hiking trails, large lakes for fishing, camping and hunting areas. Visit the Camp Breckinridge Museum and Arts Center that is located in a renovated World War II NCO Club. You can also view artifacts in the museum or the beautiful murals painted by a German prisoner of war. If you're into antiques the "Ole Pants Factory" with over 21,000 sq. ft and 100 booths is a must to visit. You're sure to find unique treasures.

The community frequently hosts festivals and events to keep things interesting. Be sure to check out the car shows, craft shows, flea markets, home tours, festivals and the Fair and Exposition Center which hosts the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, indoor motocross, truck pulls, and many, many more events.

Play golf on one of our two beautiful golf courses, or both, if you're up to it, and then dine at one of our many restaurants specializing in home cooking, famous Western Kentucky BBQ, or authentic Cajun food.
