Our nursing staff has incredible clinical skill and compassion for each and every patient. We truly believe the power to heal lies with the people who spend their days, nights, and weekends working with our patients and growing both professionally and personally. They are encouraged to be active in their unit based council, Professional Nurse Practice Council, research, journal clubs, evidence-based practice, clinical committees and their unit staff discussions or task force.
Nursing Team
Methodist Health Henderson Campus received Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2016. The Magnet Recognition Program® recognizes quality patient care, innovation and nursing excellence. Additionally, we have a Certification Funding Program to enable nurses to attain higher levels of education in specific clinical areas and enhance knowledge and critical thinking.
We also offer a competitive tuition reimbursement, scholarship and internal education offerings. Nurses can participate in preceptor programs and our Clinical Mentor program to make transitioning into the organization as seamless as possible for nurses new to the professional and new to Methodist Health. This provides a great opportunity for experienced nurses to share their professional knowledge and expertise with others.
