For 2020, Methodist Health has been recognized with Medical Excellence Awards in three categories by CareChex®. The health information service company provides clinical, financial and patient satisfaction findings to consumers, providers and purchasers of U.S. medical care.

Two of the rankings place Methodist Health in the top 10% in the State of Kentucky for both cancer care and sepsis care. Its cancer care program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons. Sepsis is the body’s overwhelming and life-threatening response to infection, which can lead to tissue damage, organ failure and death. This national scorecard also recognizes Methodist Health for ranking #1 in the Market for Neurological Care. The market includes the Evansville-Henderson IN-KY Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
