Employee Profile: Terri Edwards
Terri Edwards, Receptionist, Methodist Family Medicine, Sebree, has been affiliated with the medical office in Sebree since May 1996, when Dr. Poos hired her. He retired in December 2007 when the practice became part of the Methodist Health system but the building was always owned by Methodist Health.
Patients at the Sebree location are seen by Holly Cardwell, RN, APRN, who has been on staff since 2012. Dr. Paul Moore, whose practice is based in Henderson is the supervising physician.
Edwards’ duties including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and doing what is needed to keep things running smoothly in the office. She said, “We help each other out in any way we can and work well together. I have a great work environment and can honestly say I love my job!”
The favorite part of her job is talking with patients and their family members, many of whom she has known for years. “I chat with nearly everyone who walks in the door,” she added.
Edwards has lived in Sebree since 1976. She and her husband, Don, will soon celebrate their 35th
anniversary. They are the parents of two grown children and have a 15-month-old grandson.
