Providing the High-Quality Care You Deserve

You will find a skilled and dedicated team of gynecologists at Methodist Health. Gynecologists specialize in women’s health and reproductive health. Most patients have their first gynecology appointment shortly after their first period and continue to see one regularly for the rest of their lives.

We strive to create strong relationships with our patients so that they can feel comfortable coming to us with all of their medical concerns. We understand that these can sometimes be sensitive or embarrassing issues, and that is why we have gone above and beyond to create a safe environment where patients feel comfortable speaking openly and honestly. Every issue a patient brings to our attention is handled respectfully and with discretion.

Our gynecology services include:

  • Pap smears
  • Mammograms
  • Ultrasounds
  • Biopsies
  • Pelvic pain treatment
  • Fertility testing
  • Abnormal period treatment

When to Visit a Gynecologist

Your gynecologist should be your first call when you encounter a health problem that is exclusive to women, such as an abnormal period or the early symptoms of menopause. It is recommended that you meet with a gynecologist at least once a year for a general health exam. As you get older, your gynecologist will recommend new screening procedures for medical problems that become more likely to occur with age, such as breast and cervical cancer. These tests may include pelvic exams, breast exams, and Pap smears.
