Visitor Restrictions

Effective June 3, 2020, Methodist Health will be allowing increased visitation at both the Henderson and Union County hospitals.

These efforts are to protect our patients, staff and community.

  • Methodist Health hospitals in Henderson and Union County are now allowing hospitalized patients to have one visitor per day.
  • Pediatric patients and NICU patients may have two visitors (parents/caregivers) in the hospital.
  • Obstetric patients may have one support person with them throughout their hospitalization.
  • Additional visitation may be granted for end-of-life situations and other critical or unusual circumstances.
  • Visitation not permitted in emergency departments and in isolation rooms.

  • Visiting hours will be limited to 5 AM – 8 PM, Monday through Friday, and 6 AM – 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
  • All visitors will be screened and must be at least 18 years of age (unless they are the parent of a patient, or are an emancipated minor).
  • All visitors will be required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth for the duration of their visit.

Outpatient locations

  • Methodist Health outpatient facilities will continue to restrict visitors, to allow space for social distancing.
  • Outpatients should come to appointments alone. Exceptions include patients who need help physically or mentally; and patients under 18 may have one caregiver.
